  • Publication number: 20200176902
Abstract: A conductive terminal electrically connects a conductor of a conductive wire to a circuit board. The conductive terminal includes a body, a clamping portion having a pair of clamping arms, and a solder portion having a pair of solder lugs. The body has an opening through which the conductive wire is inserted and a passage communicating with the opening, the passage receiving the conductive wire and extending perpendicular to a surface of the circuit board. The pair of clamping arms extend from the opening towards the circuit board and obliquely towards each other so as to clamp the conductor of the conductive wire inserted through the opening. The solder portion has a pair of solder lugs extending perpendicular to a lengthwise direction of the passage and soldered to a pair of solder pads on the circuit board.

  • Publication number: 20200136274
Abstract: A conductive terminal includes a support frame defining a receiving space, a pair of first clamping arms arranged in the receiving space, and a pair of second clamping arms arranged in the receiving space. A pair of first clamping portions are disposed at a pair of ends of the first clamping arms. The first clamping portions are adapted to clamp a conductor of a wire inserted in a first insertion direction and electrically connect the wire with the conductive terminal. A pair of second clamping portions are disposed at a pair of ends of the second clamping arms. The second clamping portions are adapted to clamp the conductor of the wire inserted in a second insertion direction different from the first insertion direction and electrically connect the wire with the conductive terminal.

  • Patent number: 10594051
Abstract: A wire to wire connector comprises an insulation housing having a receiving passage extending in an insertion direction of a first wire or a second wire, an integral conductive terminal disposed in the receiving passage and adapted to electrically connect the first wire and the second wire, and a pair of seal members. The receiving passage has a first insertion port and a second insertion port, the first wire is inserted into the receiving passage through the first insertion port and the second wire is inserted into the receiving passage through the second insertion port. The pair of seal members are respectively mounted in the first insertion port and the second insertion port and each have a passageway through which the first wire or the second wire extends. The seal members seal with the first wire and the second wire to prevent moisture from entering the receiving passage.

  • Publication number: 20190267725
Abstract: An electrical connector comprises a housing having a receiving passage and a conductive terminal inserted and removably mounted in the receiving passage in an insertion direction. The conductive terminal includes a body portion having a first end and a second end opposite to the first end, a clamping portion disposed at the first end of the body portion and configured to clamp a wire of a cable, and a spring locking portion disposed on the body portion and obliquely extending from the body portion in a direction away from the body portion toward the second end. The locking portion is configured to engage a bottom wall of the receiving passage. The engagement of the locking portion with the bottom wall of the receiving passage is released by driving the locking portion with an external tool inserted in the insertion direction.

  • Publication number: 20190229445
Abstract: A conductive terminal is adapted to electrically connect a wire to a circuit board. The circuit board has a through hole and solder pads on a surface of the circuit board. The conductive terminal comprises a base, a pair of mounting portions, and a pair of clamping portions. The base has a pair of opposing first edges, a pair of opposing second edges, and an insertion hole aligned with the through hole of the circuit board. The mounting portions include a pair of solder portions extending outwardly from the first edges and parallel to the base. The solder portions are each adapted to be soldered to one of the solder pads of the circuit board. The clamping portions extend obliquely toward each other from the two second edges of the base and are adapted to clamp a conductor of the wire inserted through the insertion hole and the through hole.
