    Abstract: A method of timing a reservoir gate for silting reduction before a dam is provided. The method comprises: giving an into-reservoir water-silting variation curve within a preset time-length in future; predicting an ante-dam water-silting variation curve at a preset section position before a dam based on the into-reservoir water-silting variation curve; using width parameters and water depth parameters of a river channel to refine the ante-dam water-silting variation curve; and performing simulation on a 3D water-silting movement process by means of the refined ante-dam water-silting variation curve and a plurality of preset gate opening plans, and based on a simulation result, selecting a gate opening plan involving least silting before the dam or most desilting reduction before the dam from the plurality of preset gate opening plans.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for calculating a head loss coefficient and branch pipe flow distribution of a multi-point water intake. The method includes the following steps: inputting and determining a structure and size information of the multi-point water intake; determining a head loss coefficient; determining a head loss coefficient form of a confluence port; pre-estimating or adjusting a trial flow; performing trial calculation on the head loss coefficient of each branch pipe; comparing the head losses calculated by two flow paths; and carrying out overall calculation. According to the present invention, the flow of each branch pipe is adjusted and the head loss coefficient is repeatedly calculated by utilizing iterative calculation of the head loss coefficients of the flows in two directions, so that the head loss and the flow distribution proportion can be finally and accurately calculated.

    Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a buffering fishway suitable for emergent flood discharge with reduction in damage and a buffering method thereof. The buffering fishway includes a fishway body, wherein a migration passage is arranged inside the fishway body, one end of which is rotationally connected with a fixing base, and the other end of which is rotationally connected with a counterweighting floating dock, and a plurality of buffering plates capable of swinging are hinged inside the migration passage, furthermore, the present disclosure also provides a buffering method corresponding to it. The present disclosure effectively reduces the potential energy of the flood and weakens the impact force on the fish. Therefore, the gate dam having this design effectively avoids the fish in the fishway from being fiercely impacted by the flood and easily resulting in damage during discharging flood, having a high protective effect on the fish.
