The plastic plate has transparent display elements that are disposed as limited zones inside the plastic plate and have light-sensitive dopant particles. When the light source is switched on, the dopant particles scatter the light so that the display elements become visible from the front side.

The second surface here abuts the first surface so that it can slide over it.
