Abstract: A hand held massaging tool having a disc with a crowned upper surface which is adapted to fit in the palm of the hand of a user and a plurality of downwardly projecting tissue engaging projections, for engaging skin or muscle tissue of an animal or human being massaged. The projections are located around the periphery of the disc and are spaced apart from one another by recesses. Each of the projections also have sockets for receiving the fingers or thumb of a user. The fingers or thumb can also extend into the recesses for grasping of the massaging apparatus.
