  • Patent number: 4160636
Abstract: Apparatus for the manufacture of zippers comprising a vertically disposed rotor driven about its vertical axis intermittently and carrying a plurality of molds. Each mold has two mold sections, one fixed and the other movable for opening and closing the mold. The rotor is intermittently advanced past an injection station and material is injected into the molds successively to form a continuous length of injection-molded teeth on a ribbon. The fixed mold section of each is secured to the rotor and the movable mold section is pivotably connected to the rotor at the lower end of the movable mold section.

  • Patent number: 4034448
Abstract: A method for mass producing bulb sockets for plug-in miniature lights directly on an electric cable comprising successively passing a single line flexible cable through a plurality of stages of operation inclusive of a socket molding station where sockets are heat molded on the cable, and effecting the operation at the stages simultaneously to continuously produce a completed cable.

  • Patent number: 3976967
Abstract: An electrical connector plug comprising a body containing first electrical connector elements adapted for electrical connection with an electrical device and second electrical connector elements adapted for electrical connection with an electrical power source. Electrical fuses are replacably mounted in a carrier casing which is pivotably moveable between a first operative position in which the fuses electrically connect the first and second connector elements and a second inoperative position in which the first and second connector elements are disconnected and the fuses are accessible for removal and replacement. The carrier casing can carry replacement fuses.

  • Patent number: 3966184
Abstract: The press is used for adjusting and testing mating die halves for use in die casting, injection molding and the like, of metals, metal alloys, and synthetic resin materials. The press includes a base formed by a pair of elongated, parallel and facing channels. Each channel has mounted therein, adjacent its lower flange, a respective elongated rigid horizontal guide, and adjustable wedges are provided for horizontally aligning each guide. One guide has a substantially rectangular cross-section and the other guide has a V-shape groove in its upper surface. A pair of fixed substantially planar vertical supports are fixedly mounted on the two channels at opposite ends thereof, and a third substantially planar vertical support is mounted on the two guides for movement toward and away from one of the fixed supports. The movable support and the one fixed support are formed for anchoring thereto of respective die halves of a mating pair.

  • Patent number: 3939541
Abstract: Apparatus for continuously and automatically molding sockets onto an insulated flexible single pole cable comprising a deflecting mechanism for forming a series of bights in the cable, and a transfer guide for transferring the bights to a pair of spaced apart circular supports. The supports are rotated about a common axis and the various steps involved in making the sockets are performed at each bight as the two supports are intermittently rotated.
