Abstract: An information handling system includes multiple data ports, a memory, and a processor. Each of the data ports enables a separate communication link of a plurality of communication links for the information handling system. The memory stores data to indicate whether the information handling system supports bridge assurance on each of the communication links. In response to the bridge assurance being supported in the information handling system, the processor provides a message across a first link of the communication links. The message indicates that bridge assurance is supported in the information handling system. The processor also determines whether an acknowledgement message has been received. In response to the acknowledgement message being received, the processor enables the bridge assurance on the first link.

Abstract: Techniques are described to deliver client content on a webpage. In implementations, client content is retrieved to be presented in a webpage to be served to a client. A presentation template is also retrieved. The presentation template includes at least one server-side tag configured to define a presentation of the client content in the webpage. The client content is then integrated with the presentation template by the server as defined by the at least one tag to generate the webpage.

Abstract: An “access point” data terminal device is positioned at or incorporated into a display or acting as a standalone device accessible to a user transporting a portable computing device. A short-range communication link is provided by an IrDA infrared transceiver, or a Bluetooth radio transceiver, or both, to permit data and programs to be exchanged between the access point and nearby portable computing devices. The access point is provided with a program installation mechanism that is manually operable by the user when the portable computing device is positioned near the access point to download and install application software which programs the portable computing device to utilize the services made available at the access point.
