  • Patent number: 11897754
Abstract: A dispensing system includes a container, a holder, and a signal processing module. The container includes a body configured to store a liquid and a conductive strip coupled to an outer surface of the body. The holder is configured to receive the container. The holder includes an electrical contact configured to contact the conductive strip when the container is received in the holder. The signal processing module is in electrical communication with the electrical contact. The signal processing module is configured to receive signals from the electrical contact to determine a level of liquid within the container body based on the signals when the container is received in the holder.

  • Publication number: 20120098464
Abstract: A light emitting diode circuit (10) comprises a die with a light emitting diode for providing first ambient light (11) originating from a top side of the die and for providing second ambient light (12) originating from a bottom side of the die, to avoid complex and color dependent reflecting surfaces and to use the light more efficiently. The die may be placed on a substrate, planes of the die and the substrate being non-parallel planes, and the die may be at least partly surrounded by an at least partly transparent housing. A device (1) comprises the light emitting diode circuit (10) and a display/screen (2) supported by the first ambient light (11) having a first function like a support at a left/right/rear side of the device (1) and supported by the second ambient light (12) having a second function like a support at a left/right/front side of the device (1).

  • Publication number: 20110221963
Abstract: A display system having 3D ambient light functionality is provided. The system comprises at least light source for providing ambient light having color and/or intensity dependent on the image content. The system comprises a control unit configured to control the color and intensity of light emitted from each light source to produce a 3D-viewing sensation, at least partly based on depth information.

  • Patent number: 7800910
Abstract: The invention relates to an electronic appliance (1), provided with a cooling assembly (10) for cooling a module (4) that during use can be inserted in the appliance (1) by a consumer. The cooling assembly (10) comprises a cooling body (12) and sliding means (8A, 8B). The sliding means are arranged to engage the module with a low frictional contact surface, so as to facilitate insertion of the module. The sliding means are furthermore arranged to form a thermally conductive bridge between the module and the cooling body. At least one of the cooling body and the sliding means is resiliently deflectable, thereby allowing the sliding means to be pushed out of the way by the module, when this module is being inserted or removed.
