Abstract: A blood glucose meter having a test strip port and an adjustable lancet device disposed at the same end of the device body is disclosed. The device body further includes an enclosure at the proximal end of the device body which houses a test strip storage vial and which facilitates one-handed opening and closing of the vial to simplify access to test strips contained therein. The enclosure is further provided with a window which allows the reading of the lot numbers on the label of the test strip vial therein without necessitating removal of the vial. A data connector is also provided on the device body for communication access, such as to upload data from other devices or to download data to other devices.

Abstract: This disclosure relates to bands for wearable devices. In an aspect, the band includes a support structure with an antenna disposed thereon. An electronics unit is coupled to the support structure. The band can include an opening that surrounds the support structure. The band can also include an electronics casing that surrounds the electronics unit. The band can be removed from the support structure and the electronics unit.

Abstract: This disclosure relates to support structures for bands for wearable devices. In an aspect, the support structure includes an inner member and an outer member. The inner member includes a curved portion and a flat portion. The outer member includes a curved portion and an interface member that attaches to the flat portion of the inner member. The inner member and the outer member form a cavity between them, and the cavity can be filled with a fill member. The inner and outer members can slide with respect to each other when flexed. An antenna can be wrapped around the inner member and the outer member.

Abstract: A storage system includes a shell having a plurality of walls and a plurality of rails. The plurality of walls are coupled to one another to form a storage chamber therebetween and to define a plurality of intersection edges. Each of the plurality of intersection edges is formed at a corresponding boundary of two adjacent ones of the plurality of walls. The plurality of rails each extend outwardly from a corresponding one of the plurality of intersection edges with an angled orientation relative to each of the two adjacent ones of the plurality of walls. A cross-sectional thickness of each of the plurality of rails increases as each of the plurality of rails extends away from one of the plurality of intersection edges.
