  • Publication number: 20110074255
Abstract: A storage assembly includes a bin having side panels, a bottom, a rim, a first reception slot and a second reception slot. The side panels and the bottom define a cavity therebetween. The rim extends from the side panels around a perimeter of an opening to the cavity and in a direction substantially parallel to the bottom. The first reception slot extends from the rim into a first one of the side panels, and the second reception slot extends from the rim into a second one of the side panels. The first one of the side panels is positioned opposite the second one of the side panels. Each of the first and second reception slots is configured to selectively receive a different portion of a divider, which divides the cavity into two or more compartments. Related storage and organization systems, accessories and methods are also disclosed and provide additional advantages.

  • Patent number: 7866769
Abstract: A storage system includes a shell having a plurality of walls and a plurality of rails. The plurality of walls are coupled to one another to form a storage chamber therebetween and to define a plurality of intersection edges. Each of the plurality of intersection edges is formed at a corresponding boundary of two adjacent ones of the plurality of walls. The plurality of rails each extend outwardly from a corresponding one of the plurality of intersection edges with an angled orientation relative to each of the two adjacent ones of the plurality of walls. A cross-sectional thickness of each of the plurality of rails increases as each of the plurality of rails extends away from one of the plurality of intersection edges. Related storage and organization systems, pillows, accessories and methods are also disclosed and provide additional advantages.

  • Publication number: 20100237754
Abstract: A storage shell includes sidewalls and rails. The sidewalls each extend between two others of the sidewalls to collectively define a chamber therebetween. The sidewalls create a plurality of intersection lines each being defined along a boundary between two of the plurality of sidewalls. The plurality of are rails each coupled to and radially extends away from a different corresponding one of the plurality of intersection lines relative to a center of the storage shell. Each of the plurality of rails is formed with a Y-shaped cross-section. Related storage and organization systems, and methods are also disclosed and provide additional advantages.

  • Publication number: 20100222737
Abstract: A high flow rate infusion unit includes a heating unit with opposing, electrically-operated heating plates that contact a heat exchanger to heat infusate flowing therethrough. Pressure infusers on the infusion unit are operable to provide infusate at a high flow rate. A flat, elongate heat exchanger has a laminar fluid flow path receivable between the heating plates to which heat is conducted by contact with the heating plates. A bubble trap and a valve are disposed within the heat exchanger. The bubble trap collects bubbles and vents air from infusate exiting the fluid flow path, and the valve shuts off the flow of infusate if the volume of air in the bubble trap exceeds a predefined limit.

  • Publication number: 20100052931
Abstract: A key fob for a vehicle that provides a certain vehicle function depending on the motion applied to the key fob. The key fob includes a switch that is pressed when the vehicle operator wishes to transmit a command. Pressing the switch causes a device, such as a camera or accelerometer, to be put in a motion detecting mode, where a subsequent motion of the key fob causes the key fob to transmit a command associated with that motion. For example, the vehicle operator can press the switch on the key fob and make an upward motion, which will cause the vehicle door locks to unlock. Likewise, pressing the switch on the key fob and making a downward motion may cause the door locks to lock.

  • Patent number: 7349739
Abstract: The invention features methods and apparatus for enhancing neurophysiologic performance, such as sensorimotor control and neuroplasticity. A preferred method involves inputting bias signals to sensory cells of a subject, thereby improving sensory cell function, while the subject is performing a predefined physical activity. A system used to practice the method of the invention includes a wearable device to which is secured at least one repositionable signal input device and a signal generator that is communicatively coupled to the signal input devices.

  • Publication number: 20080058631
Abstract: A blood glucose meter having a test strip port and an adjustable lancet device disposed at the same end of the device body is disclosed. The device body further includes an enclosure at the proximal end of the device body which houses a test strip storage vial and which facilitates one-handed opening and closing of the vial to simplify access to test strips contained therein. The enclosure is further provided with a window which allows the reading of the lot numbers on the label of the test strip vial therein without necessitating removal of the vial. A data connector is also provided on the device body for communication access, such as to upload data from other devices or to download data to other devices. By combining these multiple components into a single device body, the blood glucose meter requires fewer steps for sampling and testing, and makes device use easier and more convenient.
