  • Patent number: 9187188
Abstract: A method for inspecting assembly of components in a structure includes acquiring a visual representation of at least a portion of the structure, and saving an electronic file of the visual representation on a computer readable medium. A three-dimensional design of the structure, which contains information on a proper position of the components within the structure, is accessed. The visual representation is compared with the three-dimensional design using a computer, and a feedback indicating a result of the comparison is generated.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 16, 2013
Date of Patent: November 17, 2015
    Assignee: PREMIUM AEROTEC GMBH
Inventors: Ingo Richter, Michael Schomacker, Sebastian Schwanzar, Daniel Garmann, Steffen Sauer, Erik Trostmann, Dirk Berndt

  • Patent number: 7489412
Abstract: Devices and methods for bending an extruded section of material held in a feed and fixing unit to yield a material with one or more bends and yielding a three-dimensional shape. In addition, devices and methods for further determining the three-dimensional geometry of the bent extruded section of material after one or more bending operations.

  • Publication number: 20040257589
Abstract: The invention describes a method and a device for determining the three-dimensional geometry of a bent extruded section which is held in a feed and fixing unit in the region along a first rectilinear center axis (A) of the extruded section and is bent through a predeterminable bending angle a by means of a bending device, in such a manner that the region of the first rectilinear center axis (A) adjoins one side of a bent region of the extruded section which has been produced by the bending operation and a region having a second rectilinear center (B) adjoins the opposite side. The invention also describes a corresponding bending device.

  • Patent number: 6122063
Abstract: What is described here is a measuring system for the non-contacting detecn of the three-dimensional shape of a groove peripherally extending in a spectacle frame, comprising a light source directing its light beam onto the groove or having its beam deflected thereon by means of an optical deflector system, an optical imaging system which projects the light reflected at the groove onto an optical detector unit and which is disposed in a centered position relative to the groove to be measured on the spectacle frame, a holding means supporting the spectacle frame, which is supported for rotation relative to the light source, the detector system and the optical imaging system about a centering axis of a surface inscribed by the peripheral groove of the spectacle frame, as well as an evaluation unit for determining the three-dimensional shape of the groove, which operates in correspondence with the triangulation principle. Moreover, an appertaining method is proposed.
