    Abstract: An adapter has a body having a hole, in which an end of an elastic cord is fastened. The adapter has two hooks which are each attached with a first end to the body and of which the other, second end forms a free tip. The two hooks are positioned in parallel with each other and distant from each other, the first end of one hook being positioned near the second end of the other hook. The body includes a groove having an ?-shaped cross section, and also includes protuberances also having an ?-shaped cross section which can be slotted into a groove of a further adapter or accessory. By means of this groove and protuberances the adapter can be coupled to further adapters or accessories.

    Abstract: A device for detachably fixating a first object, a foldable car seat in a folded position, to a second object, a vehicle, the device comprising a cord, wherein the cord is connected, at at least one position, to a fastening means by means of at least one pin, which pin at least partially pierces the cord and preferably has a diameter of at most several millimeters. The invention further provides a method for the manufacture of a device for detachably fixating a first object, a foldable car seat in folded position, to a second object, a vehicle, the device comprising a cord, wherein the cord is connected, at at least one position, to a fastening means by at least partially piercing the cord with at least one pin, the pin preferably having a diameter of at most several millimeters.
