  • Publication number: 20240344868
Abstract: A Coriolis mass flow meter includes: a measuring tube for guiding a medium; a support body connected to the measuring tube on the inlet side and on the outlet side; an exciter for exciting bending vibrations of the measuring tube; at least two vibration sensors for detecting vibrations of the measuring tube; and a reinforcing body fastened to a lateral surface of the measuring tube and surrounds the measuring tube, the reinforcing body including, at least in sections, a helical course with a plurality of windings, a distance between two adjacent windings of the reinforcing body being not less than twice, for example, not less than four times or not less than eight times, a material thickness of the reinforcing body in the region of the windings.

  • Publication number: 20220357257
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for calculating a quality pertaining to at least one measuring tube of a Coriolis measuring device for measuring a density or a mass flow of a medium flowing through the measuring tube, wherein a determination regarding a state of the measuring tube can be made by determining various vibration properties.

  • Patent number: 10591333
Abstract: In the method, a portion of the metal tube is placed in a lumen of a metal sleeve having a metal wall surrounding the lumen. The metal tube is placed in such a manner that an outer surface of the metal tube and an inner surface of the metal sleeve at least partially contact one another. The metal sleeve is affixed on the portion of the metal tube placed in its lumen for forming a metal tube, metal sleeve, composite system. The metal tube, metal sleeve, composite system, in turn, is placed in the passageway of the metal body in such a manner that an outer surface of the metal sleeve and an inner surface of the passageway at least partially contact one another, in order thereafter by plastically deforming at least the metal sleeve of the metal tube, metal sleeve, composite system placed in the passageway to form a force interlocking between the inner surface of the passageway and the outer surface of the metal sleeve.

  • Publication number: 20160313161
Abstract: In the method of the invention, a portion of the metal tube is placed in a lumen of a metal sleeve (30) having a metal wall surrounding the lumen. The metal tube is placed in such a manner that an outer surface of the metal tube and an inner surface of the metal sleeve at least partially contact one another. The metal sleeve is affixed on the portion of the metal tube placed in its lumen for forming a metal tube, metal sleeve, composite system (10/30). The metal tube, metal sleeve, composite system (10/30), in turn, is placed in the passageway of the metal body in such a manner that an outer surface of the metal sleeve and an inner surface of the passageway at least partially contact one another, in order thereafter by plastically deforming at least the metal sleeve of the metal tube, metal sleeve, composite system placed in the passageway to form a force interlocking between the inner surface of the passageway and the outer surface of the metal sleeve.
