  • Publication number: 20160368468
Abstract: An electronically slip-controllable power-assisted braking system for a motor vehicle. The power-assisted braking system is equipped with a hydraulically acting booster device that is inserted in a brake circuit downstream from an actuation device and has a piston unit movably guided in a cylinder housing. The piston unit is embodied in stepped fashion and divides an interior space of the cylinder housing into multiple booster chambers impinged upon by pressure medium. At least one of these booster chambers is capable of being impinged upon by pump pressure from a pump driven by external force.

  • Patent number: 9421953
Abstract: A control device is described for a brake system of a vehicle, having a valve control device that is designed to determine, at least taking into account a provided information signal relating to a generator braking moment of a generator that is currently being exerted or is to be exerted, a first target state of a first valve of the brake system that is connected to a master brake cylinder of the brake system and to a fluid storage device of the brake system in such a way that a brake fluid volume can be displaced out of the master brake cylinder into the fluid storage device via the first valve, which is controlled into an at least partly open state, and to output a first control signal, corresponding to the first target state, to the first valve, the first target state being determinable, by the valve control device, for a valve connected via at least one intake line to a brake medium reservoir of the brake system as fluid storage device, as first valve.

  • Patent number: 9248812
Abstract: A control device for a braking system of a vehicle, with the aid of which at least one provided setpoint variable regarding a setpoint brake pressure to be set in a first brake circuit and at least one provided actual variable regarding an actual brake pressure that is present in the first brake circuit, and/or an elasticity variable regarding an elasticity of a second brake circuit of the braking system are receivable, and a default variable regarding a setpoint additional volume of a brake fluid of the second brake circuit which is in a main cylinder braking mode is establishable, by taking into account a first deviation variable of the at least one actual variable from the at least one setpoint variable, and/or a second deviation variable of the elasticity variable from a predefined setpoint elasticity variable, so that a control signal corresponding to the established default variable is outputtable to at least one volume conveying device.

  • Publication number: 20150353064
Abstract: A method for operating a braking system, having a front and rear axle, the braking system including: a brake booster having a brake input element, coupled to an actuating travel sensor for providing a signal of a braking input; a brake master cylinder coupled to the brake booster coupled to a brake medium reservoir; fluid lines, in fluidic communication with the brake master cylinder and the brake medium reservoir, and with braking devices of the wheels via a system of valves, each of the wheels being coupled to a generator generating a braking torque, the method including: generating a hydraulic free travel with the valves and controlling valves with a control unit, a hydraulic pressure build-up for decelerating a wheel speed being prevented by generating free travel during actuation of the brake input element; and generating a regenerative braking torque for decelerating the wheel speed, based on the braking input.

  • Patent number: 9067578
Abstract: A method/controller for operating a vehicle regenerative braking system by operating in a first braking mode, in which a generator braking torque of a generator is not zero and is equal to a first regenerative portion predefined for the first mode, and controlling the system out of the first mode into a second braking mode having a second regenerative portion, which is smaller than the first portion, so that brake fluid is pumped out of a storage volume of the system into at least one wheel brake cylinder and/or at least one brake circuit of the system via at least one brake fluid delivery mechanism; by activating the delivery mechanism via a setpoint delivery output variable, which is established/predefined for a setpoint brake pressure having a setpoint pressure rise which increases over time, so that an actual brake pressure having an actual pressure rise increase over time is built up.
