Abstract: A packaging for products of the tobacco industry, wherein the packaging has a box portion and a lid which is pivotably arranged on the box portion by means of a line hinge, and wherein a packaging content is arranged in the box portion, and wherein the packaging has a collar which at least partially surrounds the packaging content at several sides and which protrudes with the packaging content from the box portion which is open at the top. There is provision for walls of the collar to extend from a front side of the box portion up to the region of an opposing rear side of the box portion on which the line hinge is also located. A method and an apparatus for producing such a packaging.

Abstract: A packet for cigarette industry products, having a tray for receiving at least one group of products, and a device and a method for producing the same. The packet is characterized in that the tray is specified for receiving at least two groups of products, and in that at least one separator for delimiting two receptacle spaces for in each case at least one group of products is disposed in an interior of the tray, and in that the separator is formed from a wall of the tray.

Abstract: Process and apparatus for producing cigarette packs (10) which are provided with a band (13) which butts against the outside of the packs and is fastened by glue. The band (13), which is positioned on the cigarette pack (10) and glued, is pressed onto the cigarette pack (10) by a pressure-exerting subassembly (26), heat being transmitted by a heated pressure-exerting member (29) for the purpose of setting the glue.
