  • Publication number: 20090266123
Abstract: The invention relates to a lock device comprising a key and a lock cylinder, said lock cylinder comprising a fixed cylinder housing and a cylinder core mounted to rotate therein. The key shaft (10.3) has an edge profile and may be inserted in a key way of the cylinder core in which displaceable tumblers (41, 42) are located transverse to the above. The key shaft (10.3) has profiled recesses running in the longitudinal direction, comprising a pair of follow points for each tumbler (41, 42) for coding the key, whilst the tumbler (41, 42) has a pair of counter follow points which are the basis of the corresponding counter coding. According to this invention, a space-saving design of the lock device may be achieved with a large range of variation for the coding wherein both follow points are on the key shaft (10.3) in the form of recesses, arranged on opposing lateral surfaces to an edge (57.2; 57.3) of the edge profile of the key shaft (10.3).

  • Publication number: 20090025442
Abstract: The locking device consists of a locking cylinder and a key (20.2). The locking cylinder comprises a cylinder core with tumblers (13. 14.1) in a cylinder core, which is rotatably mounted in a cylinder housing. Standard coding for the key (20.2) is produced by a step (28) with longitudinal profiling on at least one flat side of the edge profile of the key (20.2), said step being associated with a counter step (30) on the tumbler (13). In addition to the standard coding produced by (28, 30), the key has at least one set of bevelled edge coding (27.1. 27.4) in a corner section of the edge profile. The bevelled edged coding consists of recesses in the form of bevelled cuts in the corresponding corner sections of the edge profile, relative to which are provided counter touching points (47.1) in he corresponding tumbler (14.1).

  • Patent number: 7260449
Abstract: In a device for conveying and positioning structural elements at a conveying track, a structural element is brought into pending state at the conveying track and the conveying track is tilted in conveying direction so that the structural element slides downwards to approach a target point. The position of the structural element is detected. The device further includes a control unit wherein the position of the structural element is detected within a predetermined range of the target point to be reached, and a time, at which the conveying track is tilted and re-tilted at a predetermined angular speed by a predetermined angle, is determined by using a calculation and control algorithm, so that the structural element is intercepted.

  • Patent number: 7243720
Abstract: A method for selectively reducing the permeability of one or more relatively permeable geological layers of an oil-bearing formation, to inhibit breakthrough of driving fluid from a driving fluid injection well via at least one of said layers into an oil production well, which method comprises the steps of injecting a driving fluid comprising a first compound into the formation via the injection well; detecting the first compound in well fluid of the oil production well; upon detection, injecting a second compound into the formation via the oil production well, to react with the first compound in order to provide a flow restriction generated by a third compound which comprises a reaction product of the first and second compounds in at least one relatively permeable geological layer through which breakthrough of the driving fluid into the oil production well has occurred.

  • Patent number: 6705141
Abstract: The invention relates to a combined mechanical and key comprising a key housing for electronic components and an L-shape flat key (30). Said flat key consists of a bearing limb (31) which enables the key to pivot into a storage position and a shank (32) which mechanically operates the lock. The shank (32) of the flat key (30) can be displaced between an inoperative position, retracted into the key housing and an operative position, in which it projects out of the hosing. A push-button preferably also acts as the pivoting axis for the flat key (30). The push-button and the housing have profiled sections and the bearing limb has co-operating profiled sections (37, 38, 39), to subject the flat key (30) to a force in the operative position and to lock the key in one of its positions. The invention aims to produce a simple, cost-effective key. To this end, the flat key is configured as a planar plate (34) with an L-shaped outline, the shank (32) sharing the same plane as the bearing limb.

  • Patent number: 6691539
Abstract: In a combined mechanical and electronic key, electronic components and mechanical flat keys (30) are normally housed in a common key holder (10). In order to place the flat key (30) between a lowered rest position in a holder (10) and a projecting in-use position, the flat key (30) is movably located in a container (10) and secured in at least one of the positions by a push button (40). The key contain is assembled from an upper and a lower shell. In order to avoid sealing problems between both shells, according to the invention, the upper shell (11) is provided with an outbreak in a region pertaining thereto which lies outwith the push button. The outbreak creates a void chamber which can be accessed from the outside and is located on the inside of the shell interior. The electronic components are enclosed by a housing-like capsule and form therewith a prefabricated electrocapsule (20).

  • Patent number: 6553802
Abstract: The invention relates to an electronic key comprising electronic components for receiving or transmitting signals. Said components are integrated in a housing (20). A mechanical emergency key (30′) is provided in case of an electronics failure. Said emergency key (30′) can be inserted into a recess (27) in the housing (20) together with its key shaft (31′). The aim of the invention is to produce a key which can be handled easily. To this end, one end of the housing is provided with a recess which is undercut at least in places and which usually prevents the inserted emergency key (30′) from being pulled out. Usually, the key is in a holding position in the housing (20) with an essentially positive fit.
