  • Patent number: 12117992
Abstract: The technology disclosed relates to maintaining a cache of effective properties in an identity management system employing a graph. In particular, it relates to handling vertex/edge and/or graph topology updates in accordance with update notification requirements configured from a schema and, in conjunction with detecting updating of vertex/edge attributes and/or graph topology, recalculating effective attributes in accordance with the configured notification requirements.

  • Publication number: 20240211470
Abstract: The technology disclosed relates to reducing forwarding of notifications from a current vertex of a current vertex class by performing a next-hop analysis in a graph with a schema defining at least two classes of vertices with at least one vertex class caching relationship derived virtual properties (“RDVPs”) and how vertices of the vertex classes forward the notifications. The technology involves having, at the current vertex, a notification, ascertaining, from the relationships between the current vertex and target vertices that are connected in one hop, the vertex classes of the target vertices. The current vertex conditionally forwards notifications to vertices of other vertex classes dependent on the next-hop analysis. The next hop analysis is satisfied when the target vertex is configured to update an RDVP cache based on a relationship path or the target vertex is configured to propagate notifications to a further vertex.

  • Publication number: 20130176380
Abstract: A persistent connection may be established between a first and second computing device based on a signal received by the first computing device from the second computing device, where the second computing device is protected by a protective mechanism that blocks unauthorized signals from reaching the second computing device and the signal from the second computing device is allowed by the protective mechanism. A command signal may be sent to the second computing device over the persistent connection, and an exchange of conferencing transmissions may be orchestrated by the first computing device between the second computing device and other computing devices connected to the first computing device.
