  • Patent number: 10041418
Abstract: A flap device for an internal combustion engine includes a flap body comprising at least one end position, a shaft which has the flap body arranged thereon, a housing which has a flow duct formed therein, an actuator which rotates the shaft in the flow duct, a lever which includes a lever surface, the lever being attached to the shaft outside of the flow duct, and an abutment which has the lever bear thereon in the at least one end position of the flap body. The flow duct includes a throughflow cross section which is regulated by a rotation of the shaft. The lever surface which faces toward the abutment includes an abutment region which is formed so as to be inclined in a direction of the abutment with respect to a radially outwardly extending straight line.

  • Patent number: 9482570
Abstract: A device for recalibrating an exhaust gas mass flow sensor includes a first sensor, a second sensor, and a control unit. The first sensor comprises a heating element and a first temperature measuring element. The second sensor comprises a second temperature measuring element. The control unit controls a temperature signal produced at the heating element and comprises a first and second characteristic map. The first characteristic map plots an exhaust gas mass flow as a function of a heat dissipation of the heating element. A correction factor can be determined from the second characteristic map based on the temperature signal produced at the heating element and measured by the first temperature measuring element and based on a temperature signal measured via the heating element at the second temperature measuring element. The correction facture corrects a measured heat dissipation of the unit heating element to a corrected exhaust gas mass flow.

  • Publication number: 20150020570
Abstract: A device for determining a gas mass flow rate includes a first sensor unit comprising at least one first temperature measuring element and a first heating element. A second senor unit comprises at least one second temperature measuring element and a second heating element. A control unit is configured to adjust the first heating element to a first controlled excessive temperature. The control unit is connected to the second heating element so that the second heating element is adjustable to a second controlled excessive temperature.
