The locking member has a first end and a second end, and is pivotally connectable with the dispensing cartridge at the first end. The second end of the locking member is adapted for releasable locking engagement with the tip. Furthermore, the locking member comprises a first portion that provides a grasping feature for the user for manipulating the dispensing cartridge at the locking member.

Such a dispenser preferably comprises at least a first and a second compartment for a first reservoir and a second reservoir, respectively, the first and the second reservoirs containing a first and a second component for the dental material, respectively.
