Abstract: The present invention relates to a seal (14), more particularly for a vehicle door (10). In accordance with the invention the seal (14) is provided with at least one elastically pivotable tongue (19; 20) which on assembly clasps an assigned protuberance (22; 23) in thus assuring fast, simple and reliable securement of the seal (14).

Abstract: A device for fastening molded or extruded plastics parts, more particularly to an automotive body, by positive locking, comprising a base section joinable to the plastics part to be fastened and a retaining section adjoining the base section in a fastening direction. For forming a contact face, the retaining section protrudes beyond the base section perpendicular to the fastening direction. The base section and retaining section are made of elastically deformable material, at least the retaining section comprising a cavity. Such a device is characterized by the deformability of the retaining section being adaptable to the particular application in each case by relatively simple ways and means. The reason for this is that at least one elastically deformable partition is arranged in the cavity. The partition is configured as a through-hole extending in a normal direction perpendicular to the fastening direction and extends in a plane oriented perpendicular to the normal direction.

Abstract: A sealing profile for securing to a motor vehicle component, more particularly to a frame of a door in the region of the C-pillar includes an insert provided for preventing prohibitive deformations of the sealing profile. The insert has at least one elastically deformable detent for securing to the motor vehicle component and at least one supporting plate for stiffening the sealing profile, the supporting plate being formed integral with the detent in one piece.

Abstract: The invention relates to a sealing profile for securing to a motor vehicle component, more particularly to a frame of a door. The sealing profile comprises in accordance with the invention an insert provided with at least one elastically deformable detent for securing to the motor vehicle component. Furthermore, the insert is provided with at least one supporting plate for stiffening the sealing profile. The supporting plate is materially connected to the detent in one piece. The insert is provided more particularly in the region of the C-pillar of a motor vehicle. Prohibitive deformations of the sealing profile are prevented by the insert.
