Abstract: A method for minimizing a computational effort for executing a plurality of virtual tests includes: providing, by a testing unit, both a parameter set of a first virtual test and a parameter set of a second virtual test on driving situation parameters and configuration data of an algorithm that implements the first virtual test and the second virtual test; determining, by the testing unit, an identical component and/or a difference component of the second virtual test in relation to the first virtual test on driving situation parameters and/or a point in time at which at least one parameter of the second virtual test varies compared with the first virtual test; and executing, by the testing unit, the first virtual test and the second virtual test while taking into account the identical component and/or the difference component so as to minimize the computational effort for test execution.

The method further includes providing a ruleset and identifying an initial configuration data unit, wherein it is possible, using the ruleset, to identify further configuration data units automatically on a basis of a relationship thereof with the initial configuration data unit. In addition, the method includes applying the provided ruleset to the development data model in order to identify a subset of configuration data units within the development data model and saving the identified subset.

The system has a software architecture tool configured to design a graphical model of an electronic control unit for a motor vehicle. A behavior model tool converts the graphical model into a computer readable production code. A software container has a file generated based on the electronic control unit. A container manager compares the software container with a prior software container during the importation or exportation of the software container to or from the software architecture tool or the behavior model tool, and a comparison list is generated indicating whether interface modifications for the electronic control unit were made. The comparison list is then displayed to a user on a display screen.

Abstract: The invention relates to methods for determining a motion vector in a predetermined area of a sequence of digital images by comparing a current image to a preceding image. The current image and the preceding image are prepared by the same filter for image adaptation. Distance vectors between a pixel of a current image and balanced pixels of the preceding image in a predetermined environment are determined, said distance vectors being averaged in order to form a displacement vector for the pixel. The displacement vectors are averaged and the displacement vector is produced.
