    Abstract: A device for operating a gas shuttle valve through an electromagnetic actuator secured and mounted in a component which has an opening and a closing magnet with an axially displaceable armature between the opening and closing magnet. The armature acts through the use of an armature plunger in conjunction with a spring system on a valve stem. A play-compensation element is arranged between the armature plunger and the valve stem.
