    Abstract: A method is provided for rating and/or highlighting information in an image of a motor vehicle (12). Data relating to components of the motor vehicle (12) are displayed in the image together with a link (16) between the component and the associated data relating to the latter. The display is generated by a computer program (24) that links data relating to components of the motor vehicle (12) in a CAD model (11) of the motor vehicle (12) to data relating to the components in at least one database that is different from the CAD model (11). The linking is carried out so that individual components that satisfy a query criterion defined by a user are displayed in the image in highlighted form by the computer program (24).
