  • Publication number: 20200403109
Abstract: A layer structure for a photovoltaic device comprising: a transparent conductive oxide layer comprising indium tin oxide (20); a layer of tin dioxide (30) adjacent to the indium tin oxide of the transparent conductive oxide layer; and a layer of zinc magnesium oxide (40) adjacent to the layer of tin dioxide, wherein the layer of zinc magnesium oxide is an alloy of zinc oxide and magnesium oxide. A photovoltaic device comprising: a transparent conductive oxide layer comprising indium tin oxide; a layer of tin dioxide disposed on the indium tin oxide of the transparent conductive oxide layer; a layer of zinc magnesium oxide adjacent to the layer of tin dioxide, wherein the layer of zinc magnesium oxide is an alloy of zinc oxide and magnesium oxide; and an absorber layer disposed on the layer of zinc magnesium oxide, wherein the absorber layer comprises cadmium, tellurium, selenium, or any combination thereof.

  • Patent number: 10002723
Abstract: A switch for controlling an electrical appliance has a switch housing, an actuation element, a display, and a microprocessor disposed in the switch housing. The actuation element can activate an identifier through the display, which identifier is determined by the microprocessor. Selection of an appropriate system state and an associated maximum value is effected by again actuating the actuation element, specifically while the corresponding identifier associated with this system state is active or displayed. Reaching or exceeding the maximum value is indicated by a signal that is produced by the microprocessor. The microprocessor can optionally be activated once again for a reset mode and/or for a change mode.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 10, 2015
Date of Patent: June 19, 2018
    Assignee: JOHNSON ELECTRIC S.A.
    Inventors: Udo Balgheim, Dirk Weiss
  • Patent number: 9478370
Abstract: An electrical switch for mounting into a surface of a component, has at least one shoulder region to be brought closer to this surface and which has at least one seal, which is assigned to an opening in the surface. The shoulder region has at least one region with at least one assigned indicator component, wherein this assignment is changed in terms of position in the case of complete sealing action of the seal compared to an incomplete sealing action of the seal.

  • Publication number: 20150018986
Abstract: An electrical switch assembly is suitable for use in an electrical appliance requiring a descaling procedure after a predetermined number of operating cycles. The switch assembly has a first switch and a second switch. The first switch has a housing, a switch mechanism, contact terminals for the switch mechanism extending from the housing, a microprocessor disposed within the housing and arranged to monitor the status of the switch, an interface for the microprocessor accessible from outside the housing, and an actuator for manually operating the switch mechanism. The second switch provides a signal to the microprocessor indicative of a selected number of operating cycles between descaling procedures, and the microprocessor indicates that descaling is required when the preselected number of operating cycles is reached.
