    Abstract: Disclosed is a computerized system and method for wireless communication. The disclosed system comprises a plurality of pods, with each pod comprising a processor, non-transitory computer readable media, a non-transitory address book comprising a list of users and devices on the system, a Bluetooth radio, and a Wi-Fi radio. The system is further comprised of one or more Bluetooth enabled devices, and optionally, an internet gateway and a speaker. In certain embodiments, the disclosed method comprises the steps of determining whether the intended recipient of a voice message has a device coupled to the originating pod. If the recipient device is coupled to the originating pod, the message is transmitted in the form of Bluetooth packets. If the recipient device is coupled to a different pod, the message is first converted to Wi-Fi packets, transmitted to a second pod, converted back to Bluetooth packets, and then transmitted to the recipient device.
