  • Publication number: 20250129714
Abstract: An underground transmitter can be configured for use with a drill head and configured for wireless communication. The underground transmitter can include a control circuitry and a multi-coil antenna assembly. The control circuitry is configured for transmitting data associated with an operation of the drill head. The multi-core antenna can include an antenna core and a plurality of distinct wire coils. The plurality of distinct wire coils can be positioned proximate (e.g., around) the antenna core, with the distinct wire coils each having a different inductance associated therewith and thereby capable of transmitting in a separate frequency range. The control circuitry can be selectably coupled with the distinct wire coils to control which of the distinct wire coils are activated and thereby generating data signals at a given time.

  • Publication number: 20250129409
Abstract: Hybridization probes have been used in the detection of specific nucleic acids for the last 50 years. Despite the extensive efforts and the great significance, the challenges of the commonly used probes include (1) low selectivity in detecting single nucleotide variations (SNV) at low (e.g., room or 37° C.) temperatures; (2) low affinity in binding folded nucleic acids, and (3) the cost of fluorescent probes. To address all three issues, a multicomponent hybridization probe, called OWL2 sensor, is introduced. OWL2 sensor uses two analyte binding arms to tightly bind and unwind folded nucleic acid analytes, and two sequence-specific strands that bind both the analyte and a universal molecular beacon (UMB) probe to form fluorescent ‘OWL’ structure. OWL2 sensor can differentiate single base variations in folded analytes in a temperature range of 5-38° C. The design is cost-efficient since the same optimized fluorescently labeled UMB probe can be used for the detection of any analyte sequence.

  • Patent number: 12281419
Abstract: The three-dimensional knitted material includes knitted layers that are connected to one another to form a three-dimensional product. Each wale or course in a layer is formed by using an end of a thread that is a continuation of a loop of the preceding course or wale or layer to create at least two loops of the current course or wale in different planes. The loops of the current course or wale are run through at least one loop of a neighboring wale or course or layer of the knitted material. • Publication number: 20250123162
Abstract: In a method for installing and operating a measuring assembly, sensors are attached to a measurement object and measuring cables are connected to the sensors and connected to measuring amplifier channels of a measuring amplifier. After checking connection of the measuring cables and whether the measuring amplifier indicates a measuring signal for each of the measuring amplifier channels, parameterization data are acquired from a data sheet for each sensor and fed into a measuring cable end to which the sensor is connected or directly into the sensor. When the measuring channels have received the measuring signals, the measuring amplifier generates a confirmation signal and confirms a proper parametrization of the sensor.
