Abstract: Provided are organometallic compounds comprising a chelating tetradentate ligand with at least four cyclic structures located around a central Pt or Pd atom that can be used as light-emitters. Also provided are formulations comprising these organometallic compounds. Further provided are organic light emitting devices (OLEDs) and related consumer products that utilize these organometallic compounds.
