Abstract: A toolbox apparatus for portably storing tools includes a container with a pivoting holder positioned on one side of the container. The pivoting holder is shaped to hold a plurality of elongated tools in vertical orientations when upright and is pivotable rearwardly to tilt the elongated tools downwardly, thus compacting the toolbox apparatus such that the toolbox apparatus may be storied in a shorter space.
