  • Publication number: 20170330129
Abstract: A computational system, which is a bespoke service-on-demand platform, is described. One or more computing units can receive a request for a service offered by a property submitted by a guest computing device over a first communication network via a guest application programming interface (API), the request being formulated in a first language. The computing unit(s) can receive the request from the guest application programming interface and cause the request to be translated from the first language into a second, different language to form a translated request. A staff API can receive data indicating the receipt of the request by the one or more computing units, and send the translated request in the second, different language to a staff computing device associated with staff of the property and operably coupled to the staff API via a second communication network.

  • Publication number: 20170330128
Abstract: A computational system, which is a bespoke service-on-demand platform, is described. One or more computing units can receive a request for a service offered by a property submitted by a guest computing device via guest application programming interface (API). The computing unit(s) can assign a particular staff member of the property to handle the request, and a staff API can send a notification of the request to a staff computing device associated with the particular staff member. A property management system (PMS) parity computing unit is operably coupled to the computing unit(s) and to a property management system via a property management system API. The PMS parity computing unit can write data indicative of a fee for the service requested by the guest, via the property management system API, as an addition to a bill for the guest stored in memory of the property management system.

  • Publication number: 20170330126
Abstract: A computational system, which is a bespoke service-on-demand platform, is described. One or more computing units can receive a request for a service offered by a property generated by a guest computing device via guest application programming interface (API). The computing unit(s) can assign a particular staff member of the property to handle the request based on stored data corresponding to at least one staff domain object and indicative of each staff member's present availability to assist with the guest request. A staff API can receive data indicating the receipt of the request by the one or more computing units, and send a notification of the request to a staff computing device associated with the particular staff member assigned to handle the request.

One or more computing units can receive a request generated by a first staff computing device associated with a first staff member of a property via staff application programming interface (API). The computing unit(s) can assign a particular, second staff member of the property to handle the request based on stored data corresponding to at least one staff domain object and indicative of each staff member's present availability to assist with the request. • Publication number: 20160350695
Abstract: A computational system, which is a bespoke service-on-demand platform, is described. One or more computing units of a computational system can receive a request for performing a service associated with a property. The one or more computing units can receive the request to determine a relevant department within a plurality of departments of the property that should handle the request. The one or more computing units can send an indication of receipt of the request by the one or more computing units and the relevant department to a staff application programing interface (API) of the computational system. The staff API can generate a notification indicating the receipt of the request. The staff API can send the notification to a staff application executed by the relevant department via a communication network. Related systems, computer program products, apparatuses, techniques and articles are also described.
