  • Patent number: 11589979
Abstract: An intraocular lens includes an optical body having a geometric center point through which a longitudinal axis extends and a second main axis extends as a transverse axis. The transverse axis is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. A flat first and a second haptic body are each adjacent to the optical body. The first and second haptic bodies are arranged point-symmetrically to the geometric center. An outer radius of the intraocular lens about the geometric center and a radial distance from the geometric center to an intersection point of the transverse axis with a circumferential line of the intraocular lens have a ratio to one another from 1:0.5 to 1:0.9. The first haptic body has a recess on the left of the longitudinal axis and another recess on the right thereof. The two recesses each have a length and a width, the length being greater than the width.

  • Patent number: 11020220
Abstract: The invention is directed to a cassette for accommodating an intraocular lens. The cassette defines a longitudinal axis and includes a base part. Pivotable cover flaps are arranged on the base part so as to be pivotable about the longitudinal axis from a base position to a closed position. The cover flaps are curved at least in selected regions thereof and are configured to be autonomously intrinsically bendable in a defined manner when the cover flaps are moved from the base position to the closed position.

  • Patent number: 10154898
Abstract: The invention is directed to an injector device for introducing an intraocular lens into an eye. The injector device defines a longitudinal axis and includes an injector tip having a through guide channel for the intraocular lens. The channel has a rear inlet and a front outlet. A cassette accommodates the intraocular lens therein and two closure tips are configured for closing the cassette. The closure tips extend in the direction of the longitudinal axis axially farther rearwardly than the rear inlet. A method for prefolding the intraocular lens in the cassette is also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20110144653
Abstract: The invention relates to an injector tip for an injector device for introducing an intraocular lens into an eye, which has a continuous guide channel for the intraocular lens. The guide channel in cross-section has at least in sections along a rear second half a contour development with at least two outwardly curved top curves, to which each two outwardly curved lateral curves adjoin, which are connected by an outwardly curved bottom curve. The invention also relates to an injector tip, in which the shaped wall of the guide channel is formed such that lateral edges of the intraocular lens rest on a top side at the front end of the injector tip. Furthermore, the invention also relates to an injector device with an injector tip as well as a method for transporting an intraocular lens in an injector tip.
