Abstract: A method for configuring the operation of the software of a data as a service (DAAS) system during run time is described. The configuring includes receiving a match query from a customer relationship management system that transmitted the match query responsive to a user using an interface to trigger an update of records in the customer relationship management system that were previously imported from the DAAS system, querying for records in the dataset that match records in the customer relationship management system previously imported from the DAAS system, the querying configured at run time according to metadata that identifies, for records in the dataset, a field to match on and a match threshold, and producing a match query result that includes records in the dataset to be imported to update records that were previously imported from the DAAS system.

Abstract: Approaches, techniques, and mechanisms are disclosed for flexible and dynamic modification of elements within textual content to provide an enhanced interface for development or other activities with respect to those elements. In an embodiment, the elements may be augmented with links by which users may quickly access associated items in development tools or other resources. For example, in an embodiment, the elements may be specific lines or blocks of code mentioned in a stack trace or error message. The elements may be transformed into links that, for instance, open the file containing the mentioned line or block of code, and optionally scroll specifically to the mentioned line or block of code. In an embodiment, the elements are specific passages within web pages that match trigger conditions specified by rules encapsulated in a user-customizable client-side plug-in, extensions, or bookmarklet. Proxy-based or server-based implementations may also be used.

Abstract: In various embodiments, a system of synchronizing data is described. The system may store data associated with a plurality of data vendors. The system may synchronize the stored data with data from a first data vendor. The received data may be parsed by identifying data values indicated by associated metadata, and modifying the data values based on a universal data format. The system may also receive synchronization requests from a user of the service. The synchronization requests may indicate requested data and a list of processing operations. The requested data may correspond to data received from multiple data vendors. The system may perform the list of processing operations and return the data. Accordingly, the system may manage data received from multiple data vendors even if the data vendors have different synchronization conditions and provide the data in different formats. The data may be analyzed and output together to a user.
