    Abstract: A band monitoring device for a radio communication system in which each of a plurality of subscribers is allocated a fixed sequence of frequencies f to be used comprises: a detector to determine a time-frequency representation of a usage of at least one frequency band of the radio communication system; a memory to store the fixed sequences; and an evaluation unit to divide the time-frequency representation into a first component that is plausible with the fixed sequences and into a second component that is inconsistent with the fixed sequence.
