Abstract: Techniques and apparatuses for providing access to enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems from CRM applications are described. In an embodiment, an apparatus includes a processing unit and a client CRM application executing on the processing unit. An add-on application may be installed on the client CRM application. The add-on application allows the client CRM application to receive an ERP action from an ERP system via a supply hub; act on the ERP action with a second ERP action; and send the second ERP action to the ERP system via the supply hub. Abstract: Cloud based services are provided enabling electronic data interchange between suppliers and consumers of goods and services with the integration of business tools for finance, manufacturing, customer relationship management, supply chains, analytics and electronic commerce. By providing a compatibility layer to these business tools between various suppliers and consumers of goods and services, workflows can be extended with cloud-based services and automatic supply-demand matching provided based on constraints specified by the suppliers and consumers. Real-time (event-driven) order fulfillment can be implemented through the cloud based services.
