  • Patent number: 9995186
Abstract: A method for releasing a catching of a locking pin may include a control application step of releasing the locking pin from a locking pin hole by an electronic control unit (ECU) so that a catching phenomenon of the locking pin due to friction force into a rotation direction of a cam is prevented, and a cam shaking prevention control logic alternately performing, by the ECU, a holding control stopping a rotation of the cam and a rotation control of the cam into a target direction so that it is prevented that the cam is rotated in a direction which is opposite to a rotation target direction of the cam when the releasing of the locking pin is completed.

  • Publication number: 20170096955
Abstract: A method for controlling an exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system includes a first step of determining whether the EGR system is in an operation section under an ignition-on state, a second step of calculating a catalyst deterioration index with catalyst deterioration-diagnosing logic in a section that is determined to be the operation section of the EGR system, and for sensing an occurrence of a misfire in an engine with misfire-sensing logic, a third step of deciding whether the catalyst deterioration index is abnormal on a basis of a first predetermined value and whether a frequency of the misfire is abnormal on basis of a preset value for a reference duration, and a fourth step of controlling an opening amount of an EGR valve based on the decision of the abnormality of both the catalyst deterioration index and the misfire frequency.

  • Publication number: 20160040612
Abstract: A fuel cutoff system for a liquefied petroleum injection (LPI) vehicle includes a bombe that stores liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) fuel. At least one injector is connected to a fuel pump, which is disposed in the bombe, through a fuel supply line, and the at least one injector is provided in an engine to supply the LPG fuel fed through the fuel supply line to the engine. A fuel return line interconnects the engine and the bombe, separately from the fuel supply line, through which the LPG fuel returns to the bombe from the engine. At least one fuel cutoff valve is provided on the fuel supply line. The at least one fuel cutoff valve is electrically connected to an ignition key and activated by an ignition power supplied depending on whether the ignition key is in an On or Off position.
