Abstract: The present invention is directed to a prosthetic adapter that allows for rotation of a prosthetic about a central axis. In one embodiment, the invention is a prosthetic adapter comprising: a first component comprising: a first pyramid block receiver comprising a first pyramid block receiving cavity; a collar integrally formed as a single monolithic component with the first pyramid block receiver, the collar comprising an inner surface forming a central cavity formed about a first central axis; and a second component comprising: a second pyramid block receiver comprising a second pyramid block receiving cavity; and a hub integrally formed as a single monolithic component with the second pyramid block receiver, the hub extending along a second central axis, the hub positioned in the central cavity so that the first and second central axes are substantially coaxial.
