Abstract: A device includes a pair of taping units disposed symmetrical to a conveying line, along which containers advance spaced out from one another by a spacing suited to allow insertion of the taping units therein at a taping station. Each taping unit has an operating head, movable in a direction transversal to the conveying line, and a pair of rocker means articulated to the operating head, suited to intercept a strip of adhesive tape, which extends from a longitudinal wall of the container located downstream of the taping station, and to diverge elastically in phase of insertion into the spacing, while cutting means, associated with the operating head are suited to cut the strip held by the rocker means and means for driving the cutting means are actuated when the operating head is inserted in the spacing.

Abstract: In a device for forming vertical piles of items, coming from a feeding line, a pair of conveyor belts set side by side, at the end of the feeding line translate the items downwards onto a plane disposed beneath, while a pusher moves vertically in order to push the items coming from the feeding line towards the belts; a frame is made to horizontally and vertically move to engage with the support plane, in a transfer phase, and to move beneath the plane, in a return phase; the frame is also suited to support a subsequent pile being formed during the transfer phase and to allow the descent of the pile being formed on the support plane during the return phase.

Abstract: A stacking device for articles to be contained that comprises a first station placed downstream of a longitudinal article infeed line, and a second station, downstream with respect to the former, connected to a horizontal plate. The second station comprises two longitudinal rollers, each of which is provided with a longitudinal flat part in the region of which is locked a longitudinal sustaining strip. With the rollers in the non-operative position, the two sustaining strips are side by side and define a channel for receiving the articles coming from the first station. Inside the channel, sensors are provided for detecting the formation of one layer of articles placed transversely side by side.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is an apparatus that comprises grasping suction pads designed to grip the bottom blank in a pile and, in cooperation first of all with second grasping suction pads, then with an intermediate arm, and finally with third grasping suction pads, to open the blank while it is held stably in a forming station through the contemporaneous gripping of two lateral walls that are maintained orthogonal by the first and second grasping suction pads. At the forming station, first folding devices attend to the folding of the flaps that define the bottom of the container, subsequently to which a pile of articles is placed inside the container. Once this has been done, second folding devices attend to the folding of the flaps that define the cover of the container.
