Publication number: 20240354370Abstract: Embodiments determine change points within received time series data exhibiting a natural trend. A first candidate change point comprising an earlier time and a first value, and a second candidate change point comprising a later time and a second value, are received with the time series data. A rule is executed upon the first candidate change point to calculate a first score, and executed upon the second candidate change point to calculate a second score. The rule comprises a primary criterion for a change direction relative to the natural trend, a secondary criterion for a change position within the time series data, and a tertiary criterion for a change magnitude. The first score is compared to the second score to select the first candidate change point or the second candidate change point as a determined change point. The determined change point is stored for use in subsequent data analysis.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 24, 2023Publication date: October 24, 2024Inventors: Dominic Hehn, Florian Knoerzer, Swen Koenig, Jocelyn Borella, Mustafa Aktan, Naseer Muhammad

Publication number: 20240119253Abstract: In an example embodiment, an additional classifier is introduced to an autoencoder neural network. The additional classifier performs an additional classification task during the training and testing phases of the autoencoder neural network. More precisely, the autoencoder neural network learns to classify the domain (or origin) of each specific input sample. This leads to additional contextual awareness in the autoencoder neural network, which improves the reconstruction quality during both the training and testing phases. Thus, the technical problem of decreased autoencoder neural network reconstruction quality caused by high data variance is addressed.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 30, 2022Publication date: April 11, 2024Inventors: Florian Knoerzer, Swen Koenig, Dominic Hehn, Mustafa Aktan, Jocelyn Borella, Naseer Muhammad

Patent number: 10248733Abstract: A catalog application includes data for key indicators for performance measurement of applications. The catalog application comprises data for a large number of key indicators that may be compatible for different application. A monitoring application utilizes data for key indicators to measure performance of external applications. A catalog service interface is instantiated to process requests from the monitoring application to the catalog application. The external applications run in different technical environments and are part of different technical landscapes. A request to provide data for key indicators compatible with a first application is received at the instantiated service interface. The key indicators in the catalog application are filtered based on matching the technical characteristics of the first application with the key indicators' prerequisites.Type: GrantFiled: December 8, 2015Date of Patent: April 2, 2019Assignee: SAP SEInventors: Andreas Vogel, Andreas Kunstein, Dominic Hehn, Mathias Zietzschmann, Michael Decker, Sigo Henkel, Steffen Maier, Susanne Gottlieb

Patent number: 8769136Abstract: In an embodiment, a method is provided for transmitting data. In this method, a number from a sequence of numbers is identified, and each number from the sequence is associated with a time interval. A random number is generated and it is compared with the identified number. In reference to the time interval associated with the identified number, transmission of the data to the electronic device is initiated based on the comparison.Type: GrantFiled: October 19, 2010Date of Patent: July 1, 2014Assignee: SAP AGInventors: Andreas Vogel, Dominic Hehn

Patent number: 8713446Abstract: In an embodiment, a method of providing a personalized display of data is presented. In this method, an identity of each of multiple applications for displaying data is transmitted to a user device, such as, for example, a computer or mobile communication device. Selections of more than one of the multiple applications are received from the user device. Configuration data indicating the selected applications are generated and stored. A request for a presentation application is received from the user device. The presentation application is to display the data via execution of the selected applications. In response to the request, the presentation application is generated based on the configuration data, and includes the selected applications. The presentation application is then transmitted to the user device for execution.Type: GrantFiled: July 21, 2011Date of Patent: April 29, 2014Assignee: SAP AGInventors: Andreas Vogel, Dominic Hehn, Mathias Zietzschmann, Andreas Michael Kunstein, Sigo Henkel, Susanne Gottlieb, Andrei Tsognov, Steffen Maier

Publication number: 20120310655Abstract: Various embodiments of systems and methods for executing a business process in a business reporting manager are disclosed. At a first instance, a first business data to be extracted from an enterprise application is determined. A replication of the first business data is migrated to a migration repository to render the first message for data recovery. At a second instance, a second business data to be extracted from an enterprise application is determined. The first business data and the second business data are configured to execute the business process according to a data model associated with the business process. Based upon a modification in the data model, the second business data and the replication of the first business data is compiled to execute the business process according to the modified data model associated with the business process.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 31, 2011Publication date: December 6, 2012Inventors: Andreas Vogel, Dominic Hehn, Steffen Maier, Andrei Tsoganov

Publication number: 20060136504Abstract: Methods and apparatus, including computer program products, implement techniques for the combined analysis of application-based statistical data and system-usage-based performance data for a distributed enterprise system. The performance data represents utilization of a system resource in the distributed enterprise system. The statistical data represents cost of particular application program steps executed on the distributed enterprise system. A user requested view of the performance data is displayed. User input is received selecting a view item of the one or more view items in the displayed view. A user gesture is received selecting a predefined link for the selected view item. Selecting the link causes a predefined query associated with the link to be performed on the statistical data. The query is performed with parameter values based on data items of the selected view items, and the result of running the query on the statistical data is displayed.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 17, 2004Publication date: June 22, 2006Inventors: Dieter Babutzka, Dominic Hehn, Pavel Luginets, Uwe Bloching
