Abstract: A heater plate assembly for heating with heat retained from an external heat source including a plate housing adapted to be heated by the external heat source, the plate housing having an internal cavity, and heat retaining means including glass beads disposed in the internal cavity of the plate housing for retaining heat from the external source for subsequent retained heating of the plate housing.

Abstract: A portable stove for supporting stove utensil and heating same with a fuel element, including a support plate, plural support legs pivotally mounted with the support plate for supporting the same, a fuel receptacle with the support plate for receiving the fuel element for heating the stove utensils and spacer members with the support plate for spacing the stove utensils a predetermined distance from the upper surface of the support plate for proper heating thereof.

Abstract: A solid moldable fuel composition comprising an acetal resin containing from about 0.5 to about 1.5% by weight fumed silica to increase the flame temperature at which the acetal resin will burn. The composition may further include an antimony oxide flame retardant in an amount of from about 0.05 to about 0.8% by weight to regulate the flame temperature of the composition between about 1500.degree. and 2500.degree. F. and increase the combustion time of the composition. Further ingredients such as a cellulose ester and alkali or alkaline earth metal carbonate may be incorporated to facilitate ignition of the composition and increase its combustion time.
