Abstract: A CD case has a drawer which may be pulled out by a handle for access to a CD. The drawer can be easily inserted during production, and multiple drawers can be stacked in stable manner. A front wall engages in a groove in a drawer stacked on top of it to provide stability. A CD is retained in a seat by a retainer having opposed gripping retainer elements. A CD is released by a user pressing a button, causing arm branches to pull together because of configuration of a resilient anchorage.

Abstract: A DVD disc is held in a seat (4) of a casing's back cover (2) by a central retainer (6). Four barriers (7), two on each of opposed sides, are integrally moulded in the cover (2) and face upwardly towards the seat (4). When the front cover (3) is closed the barriers (7) press against it, closing the gap between the covers. If a thief tries to slip a disc out of the casing, movement is blocked by the barriers (7). Another barrier (201) is connected to the retainer (205) and can only be removed by breaking it. This also provides a tamper-evident seal.

Abstract: A moisture meter (1) has an LCD display (8) driven by a digital microcontroller (50) which generates digital moisture reading data. Readings are stored as discrete records in files. The microcontroller (51) stores a library of material data and automatically compensates signals from a capacitive/impedance sensor circuit (51) according to both stored material parameter values and sensed temperature. Users may edit the parameter values. A non-removable cover (4) is used at the final stage of production to configure the meter for the nature of interfacing (such as serial port interfacing) required.
