Abstract: Sewage treatment device comprises an enclosed housing having exterior walls and first and second interior walls forming first, second and third compartments within the housing. A first opening is provided in the first interior wall forming communication between the first and second compartments, and a second opening is provided in the second interior wall for providing communication between the second and third compartments. The openings are placed at a predetermined height so that the fluid will rise to the predetermined height and then overflow into the next adjacent compartment. A recirculating pump is located in the third compartment and recirculates fluid back into the second compartment where it is sprayed into the second compartment by means of spray heads, one of which is located above the fluid level and one of which is located below the fluid level.
