  • Publication number: 20180264543
Abstract: The valve device for venting die-casting moulds has a valve housing and a venting duct running between an inlet and an outlet. A force-receiving element, which is actuated by casting material, and at least two venting valves, which are operatively connected to the force-receiving element, are arranged in the venting duct. Each venting valve comprises a valve piston. The force-receiving element is provided with radial protrusions, which engage in a corresponding cut-out in the respective valve piston and effect a direct coupling between the respective venting valve and the force-receiving element.

  • Patent number: 6997237
Abstract: A die casting machine or an injection molding machine comprises a pressure member, such as a casting piston in a shot sleeve or extruder screw in an extruder barrel. A control unit is associated to this pressure member and/or to a filling system for filling the shot sleeve or the barrel. Moreover, an evacuation device is provided which includes a vacuum valve that communicates with the cavity of the die or mold, on the one hand, and a vacuum conduit on the other hand. This vacuum valve may be moved from an open position interconnecting the cavity and the vacuum source, and a closed position. There is a control connection between the control unit and the valve. The positions of the valve can be controlled by a material sensor located in its region and associated to it, the sensor supplying a closure signal to the valve through an output line. This output line, however, is also coupled to the control unit for influencing and controlling at least one of its controlled parts, i.e.

  • Patent number: 4851757
Abstract: Pulsations in an electrical parameter on the output of a synchronous generator powered by a Diesel engine at a frequency which differs from that of the synchronous generator's natural frequency are smoothed out, whereby, a controlled variable (X) corresponding to the pulsation is tapped from the stage formed by the Diesel engine (5), the generator (3), and the network (4). From this controlled variable (X) and a reference input (W), a control difference (.DELTA.) is calculated, by means of which a correcting variable (y) is set in the stage indicated for the purpose of control.
