  • Publication number: 20240375487
Abstract: A module assembly for a refrigerant circuit of a motor vehicle. The module assembly includes an inner heat exchanger and a heat exchanger through which a coolant can flow. The inner heat exchanger is designed to transfer heat from a high-pressure side of the inner heat exchanger to a low-pressure side of the inner heat exchanger. The heat is introducible into a refrigerant compressible by the compressor by operating a compressor of the refrigerant circuit. The heat exchanger is subjected to refrigerant that can be supplied to the heat exchanger from the high-pressure side of the inner heat exchanger and can be expanded by an expansion device of the module assembly. The module assembly is formed separately from an evaporator of the refrigerant circuit and/or separately from a condenser of the refrigerant circuit. and includes a support device separate from the heat exchanger, on which the heat exchanger is held.

  • Publication number: 20240353185
Abstract: A heat exchanger, preferably for a motor vehicle, is provided and includes a stacking direction, at least one first plate, at least one second plate. The at least two plates are adjacent to one another or on top of one another in the stacking direction. The at least two plates each have a base plane. The at least two plates each have a plane offset and parallel to the base plane. The first offset plane is raised above the first plate in the stacking direction. The second offset plane is recessed in the stacking direction. There are always a first plate and second plate that are stacked in an alternating sequence in the stacking direction, such that the base planes and offset planes (E1, E1) of the at least two plates bear on one another and are joined to one another.

  • Patent number: 12123635
Abstract: An intermediate refrigerant store of a refrigerant system may include a storage container delimiting a refrigerant storage space, a first feed, and a second feed separate from the first feed. The first feed and the second feed may be fluidically connected with the refrigerant storage space for feeding of a refrigerant. At least one discharge may be fluidically connected to the refrigerant storage space and may be configured to discharge the refrigerant from the refrigerant storage space. At least one valve arrangement may be disposed in an associated feed of the first feed and the second feed via which the associated feed may be fluidically closable and openable.

  • Publication number: 20240262163
Abstract: A thermal management module is provided. The module includes a first heat exchanger, a second heat exchanger, a first flange located between the first heat exchanger and second heat exchanger, in which there are fluid channels connecting the first heat exchanger to the second heat exchanger for fluid exchange, and a first receiver for a first valve assembly, a second flange on the first heat exchanger or second heat exchanger, which has a second receiver for a second valve assembly. This results in a compact structure and a means of supplying fluid to the first heat exchanger and second heat exchanger from different directions.

  • Publication number: 20240262164
Abstract: A thermal management module is provided that results in significantly improved collision behavior. The thermal management model includes a first module part, a second module part, a mount that has a first mount part and second mount part, the first module part is attached to the first mount part, and the second module part is attached to the second mount part, the two module parts are connected to one another for fluid exchange by connecting lines, the mount is designed such that it breaks apart between the first mount part and second mount part when subjected to the effects of a predefined force.

  • Publication number: 20230173890
Abstract: A heat pump system for a motor vehicle is disclosed. The heat pump system includes a refrigerant circuit that is flowable through by a refrigerant. The refrigerant circuit has a first partial circuit with a low pressure accumulator, a compressor, a heat pump heater, and an exterior heat exchanger. The refrigerant circuit has a second partial circuit with an evaporator and a chiller. The refrigerant circuit has a valve arrangement. The first partial circuit and the second partial circuit are fluidically connected with one another exclusively via the valve arrangement.

  • Publication number: 20230102168
Abstract: A thermal management module for a thermal management system is disclosed. The thermal management module includes a first heat exchanger for flowing through by a refrigerant and by a working medium fluidically separately with respect to the refrigerant. A second heat exchanger is provided including at least a first fluid path and at least a second fluid path, separate from the first fluid path, respectively for flowing through by the refrigerant. A connecting arrangement is arranged between the first heat exchanger and the second heat exchanger. The connecting arrangement connects the first heat exchanger and the second heat exchanger to one another mechanically and fluidically, so that the refrigerant can flow between the first heat exchanger and the second heat exchanger.
