  • Patent number: 11456494
Abstract: A method for detecting an imminent overheating of at least one battery cell of a battery, preferably for a motor vehicle. The imminent overheating is detected as a function of at least one determined first variable relating to the at least one battery cell. A temperature gradient over time of a temperature sensed in a predetermined proximity to the at least one battery cell and/or a voltage of the at least one battery cell is determined as the at least one first variable.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 23, 2020
Date of Patent: September 27, 2022
    Assignee: AUDI AG
    Inventors: Markus Goebel, Dominik Gottlieb
  • Patent number: 11261924
Abstract: A method for operating a clutch of a drivetrain for a motor vehicle, in which at least one micro-slip of the clutch is adjusted in a targeted manner by means of an electronic computing device of the drivetrain, whereby the clutch is operated with the micro-slip during at least one operating phase, wherein an overpressing of the clutch is adjusted in a targeted manner by means of the electronic computing device), whereby the clutch is operated slip-free during at least one second operating phase that is different from the at least one operating phase.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 14, 2018
Date of Patent: March 1, 2022
    Assignee: AUDI AG

  • Patent number: 10086807
Abstract: A method for operating a braking device of a drive train of a vehicle, the drive train including an automatic gearbox of a vehicle, and the vehicle further having a gear-side parking lock, a service brake, and a parking brake that can be operated independently from the service brake. When a parking condition occurs, the parking lock may be engaged by a control device if the vehicle is protected from rolling away by a service brake that can be operated independently from the parking brake. The parking lock may then be configured to remain engaged until a driving condition occurs for the vehicle. This may optimize the parking lock operation in such a way that reliably prevents a disengagement impulse when the parking lock is disengaged, preventing the vehicle from rolling when entering or leaving a parked state.
