  • Patent number: 11952654
Abstract: A sputtering device to sputter a liquid target. The sputtering device including a trough to receive a liquid target material and a device to stir or agitate the liquid target material. The device configured to degas the liquid target material or/and to dissipate solid particles or islands on a surface of the target or/and to move such particles or islands from an active surface region to a passive surface region and/or vice-versa, whereby the passive surface region is at least 50% less exposed to sputtering as the active surface region.

  • Patent number: 11551950
Abstract: A substrate processing apparatus includes a base with a process-side surface and a substrate support arranged on the process-side surface and designed to carry a substrate at its periphery. The periphery, more specifically the plane defined by the periphery, is spaced apart from the process-side surface. The substrate processing apparatus also includes a radiation sensor adapted to measure electromagnetic radiation arranged on a side of a back-side surface of the base. A radiation channel is arranged between the radiation sensor and the periphery of the substrate support, more specifically between the radiation sensor and the plane defined by the periphery, wherein the radiation channel is at least partially permeable to electromagnetic radiation.

  • Patent number: 11099257
Abstract: A radar system for sensing object movements in a predefined target region is described. The radar system includes: at least one radar unit which includes at least one transmitting unit designed to emit electromagnetic radiation and at least one receiving unit designed to receive reflected electromagnetic radiation; at least one evaluating unit designed to sense object movements in the predefined target region and, for a sensed object movement, to decide whether the object movement is a sought object movement; at least one covering device behind which the transmitting and receiving units are arranged for protection; and at least one clearing device designed to remove deposits that adhere to or lie on an outer surface of the at least one covering device. The evaluating unit is designed to determine whether deposits are present on the outer surface or not and to decide whether the clearing device becomes activated or not.

  • Patent number: 10468932
Abstract: An electric motor has a switching unit with a number of contact wires and an annular frame part. The contact wires are arranged to form an interconnect ring for the coil ends of a stator winding and the ends of the wires being connected by insulation displacement contacts. Each of the contacts have two insulation displacement limbs for connecting at least two of the wire ends, the limbs being spaced apart, thus forming an insulation displacement slot therebetween. The frame part of the switching unit has a number of plug-in pockets for receiving the insulation displacement contacts, the number corresponding to the number of insulation displacement contacts.
