  • Patent number: 11660960
Abstract: An operating device for a transportation vehicle having at least one touch-sensitive operating area to display at least one operating symbol and to actuate at least one window lifter. The operating device, viewed from an imaginary installed state in the transportation vehicle, has an upper face and a front face adjoining the upper face, at least one touch-sensitive operating area for actuating a window lifter that is on at least part of the upper face and also on at least part of the front face.

  • Patent number: 11595043
Abstract: Technologies and techniques for operating an appliance. A command button of an operating part is actuated, the actuation of the command button being detected by a microcontroller using measuring instruments. The read-in measured values are evaluated such that it is determined whether the measuring signal has a regular form for actuating the command button, or an irregular form. A function associated with the actuated command button is implemented if it is established that the measuring signal has a regular form. When a regular form is identified, optionally an acoustic, haptic or optical acknowledgement signal is emitted, and when an irregular form is identified, an acoustic, haptic or optical fault signal is emitted.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: February 28, 2023
    Assignee: VOLKSWAGEN AKTIENGESELLSCHAFT

  • Patent number: 10882401
Abstract: The invention relates to an operator control apparatus for outputting haptic feedback comprising an operator control surface, an actuator, which is at least indirectly coupled to the operator control surface, for generating the haptic feedback on the operator control surface and a control unit which is designed to drive the actuator by means of a haptic component of a control signal for generating the haptic feedback. In this case, the control unit is designed to drive the actuator by means of an acoustic component of the control signal for generating acoustic feedback.

  • Patent number: 10732831
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for detecting a user input for an input device having a plurality of switch elements, wherein a control action with a marking gesture and a selection gesture is detected. In doing so, at least one first and one additional switch element are marked sequentially in a specific sequence using the marking gesture, wherein initially the first switch element and then the at least one additional switch element is marked. Using the selection gesture, the marked switch elements are selected sequentially in reverse sequence. Depending on the selected switch elements, control signals are generated and output. The invention furthermore relates to an input device having a plurality of switch elements, a control unit and a detection unit by means of which a control action with a marking gesture and a selection gesture is detectable.

  • Patent number: 10073528
Abstract: A device for generating a haptic moment at an actuator including an unbalance motor, a sensor for sensing activation of the actuator, and a processor for generating an actuation signal for the unbalance motor depending on signals of the sensor, wherein the processor is embodied so that, when activation of the actuator is sensed, the processor generates a first actuation signal and generates a second actuation signal, wherein the first actuation signal is configured so the unbalance motor is accelerated in a first rotational direction without reaching more than two revolutions, and the second actuation signal is configured so the unbalance motor is braked without the unbalance motor starting to move in the second rotational direction.
