  • Patent number: 11580853
Abstract: A method for acquiring the surrounding environment of a motor vehicle. The motor vehicle has at least one ultrasound sensor. The ultrasound sensor includes an ultrasound transducer for sending, the ultrasound sensor receiving acoustic environmental signals, in particular audible environmental signals, in that the ultrasound sensor is controlled in its evaluation in such a way that sound waves having frequencies below a resonant frequency of the ultrasound transducer, in particular audible sound waves, of an environmental signal are acquired and evaluated. Environmental signals are understood as acoustic signals that are not produced by the ultrasound transducer itself, but rather by an external sound source that in particular differs from the motor vehicle. This can be for example the siren of a rescue vehicle or emergency vehicle, or the horn of some other motor vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20200094334
Abstract: Method comprising: a) specifying a target ease-off for a first pair of gear wheels from a number of structurally-equivalent gear wheel pairs, b) carrying out a first lapping procedure on the first gear wheel pair, c) carrying out a measurement procedure on the first gear wheel pair to acquire multiple measured values on tooth flanks of both gear wheels, d) ascertaining the actual ease-off of the first gear wheel pair from the measured values, e) ascertaining deviations of the actual ease-off in relation to the target ease-off, f) ascertaining correction values on the basis of the deviations, g) defining an adapted lapping procedure on the basis of the correction values, and h) either carrying out a further, adapted lapping procedure on the first gear wheel pair, i) or carrying out an adapted lapping procedure on a second gear wheel pair from the number of structurally-equivalent gear wheel pairs.

  • Patent number: 10265820
Abstract: In a machine tool, in particular a laser machine tool, a workpiece slide or tool slide is movable along a guide rail and has at least two guide carriages that are guided on the guide rail. The machine tool has a covering hood that is moved along with the slide, for covering that rail section of the guide rail that is located between the two guide carriages. The covering hood is a part that is not connected to the slide. The covering hood is guided on the guide rail in a displaceable manner between the two guide carriages and is entrained in the displacement direction by the rear guide carriage when the slide is displaced.
