  • Patent number: 11115449
Abstract: According to the present subject matter, a cast request is received at a rendering system from a user device over a home network. The cast request is request for casting data from a cast device communicatively coupled to a first network and a third network, onto a display device communicatively coupled to the home network. Thereafter, the rendering system transmits the cast request to a casting system over a second network. In response transmitting the rendering system receives, from the casting system to the requested data. The data is provided to the casting system by the cast device and the data is obtained by the cast device over the first network. The available cast system is automatically discovered by the user device and no configuration or specific software is needed on the user device.

  • Patent number: 9148821
Abstract: A service manager intended to be positioned in a telecommunications network implementing a satellite and one or more user networks, the communication protocol relying on the 3G standard or implementing TFT and PDP rules, comprises at least the following modules: a link configuration module which contains one or more static configurations that can be modified by a user, an external-events manager module, a traffic detector module, a configured-TFTs traffic detector plugin, a TFTs management module, a Secondary PDP context management module.

  • Publication number: 20140169562
Abstract: A method and a system architecture making it possible to establish in a dynamic manner one or more encrypted tunnels on constrained-band communication networks is provided. It makes it possible in particular to encrypt one or more data streams while guaranteeing the quality of services on the constrained-band systems, in particular for encrypted streams of voice over IP type (Internet protocol) or of data type. These tunnels are thus adapted most suitably to the useful data streams while making it possible to control and assign the necessary values for the quality of service or QoS on these networks.

  • Publication number: 20130294355
Abstract: A system architecture makes it possible to dynamically open communication channels of optimized dimension with guaranteed bit rate, the communication protocol used being the RTP protocol, said system architecture being intended to be positioned in an aircraft, a ship and/or a suitcase, and/or a ground station comprising one or more voice-over-IP terminals, said architecture comprising at least the following elements: a ground or onboard SIP server comprising at least the following elements: a bit rate adapter module which controls, paces, adapts the bit rate of the RTP stream received by a terminal, a module for controlling the signaling included in the data streams, said control module comprising a signaling interception module, a signaling modification module, said signaling interception module receiving the information from a terminal transmitting data and an access control module.

  • Publication number: 20090147791
Abstract: Procedure and device for managing the quality of service hop-by-hop in a packet-based communications network comprising several arteries linked together by a router, the network supporting a signalling protocol. The procedure comprises at least at each router a step of reserving the resources on the arteries gradually and a step ensuring once the communication has been established that the packets of one and the same connection follow the path between the sending source and the destination on which the resources have been reserved.
