  • Patent number: 11083826
Abstract: A device for controlling blood flow occurring in a haemorrhagic zone of a biological tissue, includes a flexible plate arranged to be placed opposite this zone, the flexible plate including: substantially leaktight peripheral supporting elements, for applying on the tissue so that the zone is surrounded; a back wall delimiting, with the supporting elements, opposite the zone, a hollow space; connecting elements connecting the hollow space, externally to the flexible plate, to an external aspiration source for creating a vacuum in the hollow space for aspirating and tightly applying the surface of the tissue against the peripheral supporting elements; and a hollow stud placed between the zone and the back wall and hollowed out in its centre on the side of the zone along an axis substantially perpendicular to the back wall, and arranged to be in contact with the zone when the vacuum is created in the space.

  • Patent number: 9675362
Abstract: Device for haemostatic control of a blood flow, comprising a suction cup which provides leaktight coverage and is able to surround and be applied tightly to a tissue area (2) that is to be treated, said tissue area (2) being the site of a haemorrhage or of a blood flow that is to be controlled, this suction cup (3) coming into contact with the periphery of the tissue area and delimiting an internal volume (8) which is connected in a leaktight manner, by a catheter or a similar connecting tube (7), to an external aspiration element that establishes a vacuum, so as to create an underpressure of defined value within this volume between the suction cup and the tissue area, the suction cup (3) having the general shape of a dome (4), of which the base (5) supports an inner bearing element (11) that can be arranged opposite the tissue area (2) under the suction cup (3). The invention lies in the inner bearing element being formed by a solid obturator (11) or an open grill (13).

  • Publication number: 20110066178
Abstract: A device for the haemostatic control of bleeding, including a water-tight collecting suction cup, which is able to surround and be tightly applied onto a tissue area to be treated, wherein a haemorrhage or a bleeding episode to be controlled takes place, and wherein this suction cup comes into contact with the periphery of the tissue area and defines an inner volume which is tightly linked through a catheter or a similar linking tube to an outer suction and vacuum-creating device, thus creating in this volume, between the suction cup and the tissue area, a depression having a defined value, wherein the suction cup has the general shape of a dome, whose bottom supports an inner supporting device which is able to be placed opposite the tissue area under the suction cup. The inner supporting device includes a solid obturator or a perforated grid.
