  • Patent number: 7682562
Abstract: A system for decontaminating a fluid-injection system for a tub from organic growth comprises an ozone source and a pressure source, producing an ozone-enriched air output. Piping is connected to a fluid-injection system. A controller device actuates the ozone source and the pressure source such that the ozone-enriched air output is conveyed to conduits of the fluid-injection system. A switch manually actuated to stop an actuation of the ozone source, whereby organic growth in the conduits of the fluid-injection system is exposed to the ozone-enriched air output.

  • Publication number: 20100006158
Abstract: A fluid jet for injecting fluids in the liquid of a tub through a throughbore in a wall of the tub comprises a gas injector with a hollow body having a gas inlet receiving a gas flow from a pressurized gas source. A gas outlet produces a flux of gas with the gas flow. A liquid injector comprises a hollow body with a liquid inlet connected to a pressurized liquid source to receive a liquid flow therefrom. A liquid outlet produces a flux of liquid with the liquid flow, the gas injector being received in the hollow body of the liquid injector, for the gas outlet and the liquid outlet to form a common jet outlet. The liquid injector is secured to the wall of the tub opposite the throughbore such that fluids exiting the common jet outlet are directed concurrently through the throughbore into the liquid of the tub.

  • Publication number: 20090158519
Abstract: An assembly of an aromatherapy system and tub comprises a tub for bathing. A reservoir portion contains an aromatic liquid, the reservoir portion being mounted to a wall of the tub. A pressure source is actuatable to provide pressurized gas, the pressure source being concealed under the tub. A fluid-conveying line is concealed under the tub and connecting the pressure source to the reservoir portion to diffuse the pressurized gas from the pressure source into the aromatic liquid in the reservoir portion so as to create a mist of the aromatic liquid in the environment of the tub.

  • Publication number: 20080012734
Abstract: An interface system for a tub system comprises a screen plate adapted to be mounted to a tub wall. The screen plate has keys representing functions of the tub system, and being made of a material allowing light to pass therethrough. Lights are positioned in register with the keys of the screen plate and concealed from a visible surface of the tub. A controller is adapted to receive commands from a user of the tub to actuate any selected function of the tub system. A light actuator actuates the lights to light up the keys associated with the selected function to visually indicate actuation of the selected function of the tub system through the keys.

  • Publication number: 20070093919
Abstract: A remote control system in combination with an electrically actuated tub system. The remote control system has an electrically actuated tub system in association with a tub/tub surroundings. The electrically actuated tub system has an apparatus controlled by an apparatus controller through a user interface keypad. A remote control is adapted to send command signals. A receiver detects signals from the remote control. A control interface is connected to the receiver to receive the command signals from the remote control, and is connected to the apparatus controller to actuate the apparatus controller into controlling the apparatus as a function of the command signals from the remote control.

  • Publication number: 20060236448
Abstract: A jet of a tub massage system for injection of a fluid in the liquid of the tub, comprises a tubular body. An inlet end is adapted to be connected to a pressure source. An outlet connection end connects the jet to a tub wall. A unidirectional flow mechanism within the tubular body allow a flow of fluid from the inlet end to the outlet connection end. A cavity is defined in the tubular body at the outlet connection end sized such that at least two holes in the tub wall are in fluid communication with the cavity, whereby fluid from the jet is injected into the tub through the at least two holes. A method for installing the jet to a tub wall is also provided.
