Abstract: A device for relieving pains and spasms by applying electrical pulses which makes it possible to render the electrical pulses easier to tolerate by limiting or preventing the painful or untimely discharges which hamper the use of the relief device. The relief device delivers electrical pulses only when it bears or rolls in a back-and-forth movement on the skin or clothing of a user. The relief device comprises means for limiting the maximum voltage delivered to the user, one or more means of triggering the pulses delivered by the electrodes, an activation delayer and a system for progressively launching the potential delivered by the electrodes.

Abstract: An abdominal massaging device includes a support and a first plate rotatably mounted on the support. At least one projection extends from and is rotatably mounted upon the first plate. In this way, the projection is effective to rotate with respect to the surface of the plate. In an alternative embodiment a plurality of second plates are disposed on the first plate and projections are disposed on the second plates. The supports for the device further include concave portions for receiving a user's pelvis and rib cage.

Abstract: Portable device for relief of pain and contractures and skin rejuvenation comprising a head (10) for applying electric current pulses to the skin of a user and a handle (16) held by the user's hand. The head has the shape of a cylinder portion of which the directrix has a convex shape, the head having at least one electrode (22, 24) situated on its external surface or at a constant distance from said external surface and of which at least one portion is situated on each generatrix of the cylinder part susceptible to be in contact with the user's skin. Thus, the head is always in contact with the user's skin by one of the generatrices lines of the cylinder portion comprising an electrode portion independently of the inclination of the head with respect to the user's skin.

Abstract: A solid or liquid composition of food quality, non-allergenic and non-toxic, for scenting finished products formed of elastomers by contact of these finished products and these compositions before use. This chemically or physically isolated composition contains, in addition to one or several natural or artificial scents, one or several additives belonging to the group of agents for sugaring, sweetening, taste reinforcing, absorbing, coloring, lubricating, emulsifying, stabilizing, thickening, gelling, absorbing, anti-lumping, food preserving, anti-oxidation, and may be sterilized in different ways such as exposure to rays (.beta. type or the like). The invention is particularly useful for contraceptives, and comprises a package in which the contraceptive is contained isolated from a quantity of a scenting composition by means of a rupturable separator. Upon rupturing the separator, the product may be scented by massaging the package before opening it.

Abstract: An apparatus using discharges of sparks especially of piezo-electric origin comprises a bipolar electrode which includes one or several metallic electrodes (5) for direct contact with the skin, connected to one pole as well as one or several discharge electrodes (6) connected to the other pole, isolated by way of an isolating separation, or by distance and permitting discharge of sparks against the skin by automatically spacing the metallic discharge electrode (6).

Abstract: Bipolar electrodes discharge sparks of piezoelectric origin. The poles (4, 5) of the electrodes are less than a centimeter apart in order to avoid a double discharge and to provide better stimulation. A separation device (7) is placed between them; this device is substantially longer than the length of the electrodes (4, 5) so as automatically to distance the electrodes from the skin. This separation device also serves as insulation to prevent interdischarge of the electrodes.
