  • Patent number: 6402364
Abstract: A portable dispenser has at least two containers organized to enable the substances they contain to be dispensed in proportions selected by the user, and a mixing chamber into which the substances contained in the containers are dispensed and in which they can be mixed together. The substances contained in the containers have different colors, the dispenser includes at least one stirrer that is movable in said mixing chamber, and the mixing chamber is organized to enable the user to observe the color of the resulting mixture prior to extracting it.

  • Patent number: 6095000
Abstract: An apparatus and method for implementing successive treatments on samples, such as samples of fibers, in particular hair. The method is performed by applying at least one liquid followed by drying the samples. The apparatus includes a plurality of beakers each adapted to receive a sample and into which at least one treatment liquid is fed via a feeding device. The apparatus further includes a flow device for establishing a flow of drying gas in each beaker.

  • Patent number: 5878923
Abstract: The invention relates to apparatus for simultaneously dispensing a plurality of measured quantities of a liquid, the apparatus comprising:a slide-valve body, a succession of liquid accumulation chambers, respective expulsion gas feed channels associated with said chambers, a selector member movable in said housing between a filling position and a dispensing position, and sealing structure placed in said housing between the slide-valve body and the selector member. When the selector member is in the filling position, liquid flows through the various chambers in succession, and when the selector member is in the dispensing position, the liquid contained within each chamber can flow out under the action of said expulsion gas.

  • Patent number: 5788119
Abstract: A device for storing a liquid or pasty product and for dispensing a given quantity of the product includes a container that contains the product. A stopper is disposed at an upper end of the container. A dip tube extends through a channel of the stopper and into the container. A sealed enclosure receives the container such that the container can be subjected to a pressure higher than a pressure outside of the enclosure. A weighing element of the enclosure measures the weight of the container when the container is received in the enclosure. A controller controls a mechanism for pressurizing the enclosure by comparing a change in weight of the container with a set value that corresponds to a predetermined quantity of product to be ejected from the container, and interrupting pressurization of the container when the change in weight of the container has reached the set value.

  • Patent number: 5520310
Abstract: Fluid dispensing container (1) equipped with a dispensing valve (2) carrying an outlet (3) through which the fluid is dispensed during the actuation of a pushbutton carried by the valve; a conditioning chamber (4) of variable volume defined by a mobile wall (5a) subjected to the internal pressure of the container, communicates, on the one hand, with the dispensing valve (2) and, on the other hand, with the inside (18) of the container through a retarder means made in the form of a passage with high head loss. At the end of emptying of the conditioning chamber (4), the communication between the dispensing valve (2) and the inside (18) of the container is interrupted.

  • Patent number: 5429276
Abstract: A metering device has a chamber of variable volume, closed at one end by a closure member; a link for the chamber with the outside, and a control for the variations in the volume of the chamber, making it possible to draw in or to discharge depending on whether the volume increases or decreases. The closure member is traversed by at least one duct emerging in the chamber and towards a container; selection elements are provided either for connecting the duct to the product container, or for closing the duct; a dispensing orifice is provided in the wall of the chamber, this orifice being equipped with a shut-off capable of being closed when drawing into the chamber and of being opened for dispensing.
