  • Patent number: 9979163
Abstract: This breaker panel comprises a plurality of circuit breakers, each circuit breaker having a head comprising a frustroconical seal made of an elastomer, this frustroconical seal having a first frustroconical face; and a conic frustum made of a material that is harder than the material of the frustroconical seal, this conic frustum having a second frustroconical face; in which: the distance, in a plug-in direction, between an upper edge of the first frustroconical face and the shoulder is at least two times smaller than the distance, in the plug-in direction, between the upper and lower edges of the second frustroconical face; and the upper edge of the first frustroconical face is set back, towards the interior of the circuit breaker, relative to the lower edge of the second frustroconical face.

  • Patent number: 8328575
Abstract: A device for connection of multiple switchgear devices having a first connection plane including at least one plug-in socket for receiving a switchgear device pluggable in a plug-in direction. The device includes a second protection plane with a removable cover having at least one opening for the control means of a device to pass through. The removable cover also includes at least a first pressing area for pressing against a second pressing area of at least one switchgear device, pressing of the first pressing area on the second pressing area at the time the removable cover is positioned providing a holding force for the at least one switchgear device.

  • Patent number: 7113062
Abstract: An on-board circuit breaker that includes a push-button that enables the circuit breaker to be reset by depressing it, a power supply terminal and distribution terminal, two breaking contacts, and a main bimetal strip. Thermal deformation of the main bimetal strip trips the circuit breaker. The circuit breaker further includes an actuator able to trip the circuit breaker and an electronic circuit monitoring the electric signal. The electric signal is monitored to trip the actuator when predefined particular situations are identified. The circuit breaker also includes a movable reset enable part equipped with a pin. When the circuit breaker is tripped, the reset enable part moves in such a way that resetting the circuit breaker is possible only by depressing the reset enable part before or when the push-button is depressed.

  • Publication number: 20050134411
Abstract: The invention relates to an on-board circuit breaker comprising A push-button which moves along its axis when the circuit breaker trips and which enables the circuit breaker to be reset by depressing same, centring key, A power supply terminal and a distribution terminal, Two breaking contacts, A main bimetal strip deformation whereof by thermal effect trips the circuit breaker, An actuator able to trip the circuit breaker, An electronic circuit monitoring the electric signal flowing between the power supply terminal and the distribution terminal, in order to send a tripping order to the actuator when predefined particular situations are identified.

  • Patent number: 5608325
Abstract: The method of recalibrating an energy management processor of a battery of accumulators consists, at the end of a defined period of time, in initiating a process of recalibration of evaluation of the quantity of electrical energy contained in the battery, in completely recharging the battery, in detecting the end of the complete recharge of the battery, in performing a partial discharge of the battery, in measuring the quantity of electricity extracted during this discharge, in leaving the battery to rest for a defined time, in totally discharging the battery at a low current while measuring the quantity of electricity thus extracted from the battery, in adding the said two quantities of electricity measured in order to obtain the value of the maximum capacity of the battery at the moment of the recalibration.

  • Patent number: 5587660
Abstract: A process is disclosed for evaluating the remaining charge in an accumulator battery by determining the residual charge at the start of discharge, adding up the quantities of energy extracted as and when the battery is used, determining the quantities of charge which are not restorable instantaneously because of a high discharge rate, charge which is restorable by relaxation of the battery and charge which is not restorable under the influence of temperature.
